James studied dentistry at Cardiff University and in his final year was proud to be awarded the Arshad Ali Prize,  given to the person who demonstrated the highest clinical skills and theoretical knowledge in restorative dentistry. He has a passion for restorative dentistry and loves saving teeth through root canal therapy and giving people back their smiles with thoughtfully designed dentures. 

Most recently, James enjoyed working at an award-winning practice on the outskirts of Cardiff but has now made the move to come enjoy the Cornish Coast and lifestyle with his wife, son, and soon to be born baby girl. James' other great passion is homebrewing beer, and he has even written a research paper on the effect that craft beer has on enamel erosion!
