Being safe

We take our patients and staff safety and well-being very seriously in these challenging times. Whilst many practices are currently shut or on vastly reduced hours or treatments due to Covid 19 outbreak, we have taken the decision to invest in equipment and procedures to make sure that we can open and are now providing a full dental service to our community. This includes check-ups, routine dentistry such as fillings and extractions to advanced dentistry such as veneers, teeth straightening and implants.

At the practice between patients we use:

1. Hypochlorous Acid to clean all the surfaces. This disinfectant acts by attacking the outer protein surface layer of the virus killing it. Best of all, this disinfectant is completely safe for the environment as it breaks down to salt water. This is very important because we do not want to inadvertently pollute our beaches and water systems.

2. Industrial Foggers – in high aerosol procedures this allows us to ensure that the air has all small airborne particles of the virus removed. 

3. Industrial Air Evacuation Units – these allow us to extract and refresh the air 6 times after each patient. This means that we are 100% confident that our surgeries are safe and clean for everyone.

We recognise that many of our patients are in risk categories, and have decided to take the position of having dedicated SHIELDED SESSIONS. This means that only one patient is in the practice at any given time, and in the gaps between, we use all the above procedures to thoroughly sterilise the environment.
