Over the recent Christmas break, Chris and Garrath decided to spring a surprise on the team by giving the staff area a fantastic new make-over as a thank you to the girls.

The old staff area was a bit cramped so Chris and Garrath felt they wanted to give something back by creating a calm environment for the staff. Along with Chris’ wife Nik, all three put their efforts into the new design. 

Firstly, Chris dragged his family all the way to Bristol to buy half of IKEA! Then Garrath and Chris took time out of their holidays to come into the practice and make a start on the job. They ripped up the old flooring, removed a wall and prepped the area for the new design. Next they laid a new wooden floor, built our new model storage area and installed the new staff kitchen.

After that Chris and Nik painted the walls, adding a bit of vibrant blue to the room to give a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Nik then painted some canvas art which was hung along with the new storage, shelving units and staff table.

As if this wasn’t enough, the three of them also re-designed our new consultation area to discuss treatment options. A comfortable sofa, cushions and a snazzy coffee machine were added. Espresso anyone?
